WRITE NOW NEWSLETTER – The Fine Print
You received this newsletter either because you signed up for it at nitasweeney.com or by replying to an invitation. If you do not want to continue receiving it, see “Get off the List,” below.
STAY ON THE LIST: If your email address changes and you still want to receive the newsletter, please send an email with CHANGE OF ADDRESS in the subject line to nitasweeney@jangomail.com. This may seem obvious, but if you’re like me, the havoc of changing something as essential as an email address may cause you to lose sight of other important things (like a monthly writing newsletter).
GET OFF THE LIST: Simply reply to this email with UNLIST in the subject line.
SUBMISSIONS: Write (Now) Newsletter accepts submissions of writing events, on-going writing groups and open mics only. We do not currently accept articles, advertisements, markets or contests. Please send an email with date, time, place, cost and contact information to submissions@nitasweeney.com with SUBMISSION in the subject line. Editor reserves the right to revise submissions and press releases.
DEADLINE: The 20th of each month for the following month’s newsletter.
SUGGESTIONS or COMMENTS: Please email me with ideas, quotations, or formatting tips that might make this newsletter more readable, manageable, helpful, workable. It’s your newsletter. I’m just typing. You may contact me via snail mail at: 3801 Norbrook Drive, Columbus, OH 43220.
PARANOID EX-LAWYER’S RELEASE: We had a little too much excitement this month. First the husband got sick and wound up in the ER. He recovered miraculously just in time to take care of me when I came down with it. Then the Boston Marathon was bombed. Then the husband had dental surgery. The next week he had hand surgery. Our little misfortunes are nothing compared to the grief of the families of those killed or the suffering of the people wounded in Boston. We were lucky, but our hearts are heavy. The newsletter hasn’t exactly been at the center of our attention. If you find errors in the newsletter, please be gentle when you let me know. I will do my best to correct them.
